Today's post will start off with Friday's day. It sounds a lil complicated but you probably got the drift. Oh well, so here goes! {HAHA like I sound like I'm gonna eat an alive cockroach}Training on Friday morning wasn't torturous and inhuman. In fact, it was a total opposite. All we did was the drills and played games, the end. I went home asap as I had to get my beauty sleep to prepare myself physically and mentally for the night walk later on that night. But I was awaken halfway by my mum directly and by JP, or specifically of the specifically Clarisson indirectly. Mum went "Jie, you still wanna go to the church activity? Sacha called and said must be there by 5 o'clock" at approximately 3.45pm. I shot up like I was on a bungee and quickly had something to eat. I checked my phone and no doubt, JP did say that we have to be in church by 5pm. I was like 'what the hell'. So I called JP to triple confirmed and I heard one of the best things ever :D He said that Clarisson as a prank told him to be there by 5pm while actually it was 9.45pm. Hallelujah, praise to Jesus Christ! I took my time preparing and left the house around 6pm to meet Sacha at Causeway Point. We walked over to Mega Sports Park, met JP and went over to the 'Colour-Catching Playground' to slack around with Gian and gang. Sacha and I were sitting down, laughing our butts off, as though we were watching a comedy. They were so retarded that it was damn funny!:D Then we headed to Fairprice before Al-Ameen. Sacha and I went back to Fairprice to get things part 2 then walked to church. Okay I realized I was being very detailed till it's so long-winded. I shall skip to the night walk :D At around 10.30pm, we left church and headed to Singapore American School. We walked and walked, and ended up in some forest. You know, those typical forest-at-the-sides-of-expressways. And there were 3 times where we had to walk on top of tunnels to get to the other side. Wanna know how terrifying it was? Imagine a big white tunnel, obviously cylindrical in shape. There's a high possibility you might slip and fall cuz your shoes are wet from the mud and the damp grasses you walked on and as it's cylindrical in shape, the area where you walk isn't that wide. Well, it's terrifying cuz when you fall, you'll land in some dirty, stagnant and leech, rat, mosquito, snake infested muddy water about 1 storey high deep. Disgusted? Either that, or you'll fall into some tall and long grassy place, with a high possibility of snakes, toads and/or frogs inside. Screaming or thinking "eeewww!"? Yeah, it is eww! Well the first 2 tunnels aren't that scary. It's the third one which was a life thriller. It was like a freaking 100 meter long approximately. And it was very slippery at the beginning because of the mud and water. Gosh, I wonder how I even managed to get to the other end. I even practically ran the last few meters. Then we continued walking in the forest again. Some place were so wet-muddy that everything sipped into my shoes. Luckily I was wearing an old shoe, unlike one guy who wore his new $80 shoe, Bruno who wore his Nike {good thing they were already old} and Sacha who wore her Converse. Okay so basically we walked, alot. And then once, there was a python! I didn't get to see it properly. But I could make out it's shape and size with the help of the moonlight. It was long, and not exactly gigantic. And then on the way back, my left leg got stuck in mud. Not the watery kind, but the sticky one. My leg sank in about one feet deep. JP held me and I tried to get out but my leg was stuck. Then Bruno pulled it out. Cool eh?:D We walked and walked, and eventually Father ended the walk at around 5.30am. WE WALKED FOR 7 HOURS! Whoa, try doing that! According to Bruno, we covered more than 20km. To me, I think we covered like 50km. And I was glad I only fell once. Being a klutz that I am, I could have fell like once in every 10 minutes. Which means I could have fallen 42 times! And thanks to Bruno, I reached home in one piece. He was so nice, keeping me company with ghost stories and offering to carry my bag and always asking whether I was alright and holding my hand whenever the ground wasn't stable. Thanks a whole lot, and I seriously mean it :D I should start a thank-you session here right now, HAHA ;D Thanks Andrew for giving up your seat in the bus to me and thanks JP for carrying my bag for awhile (: To summarize, we walked alot, there were a number of good Samaritans and it was kinda fun. Sheila was always making Sacha and I laugh :D Wanna know what happened after the walk? Let me tell you!:D We ended up somewhere in Sembawang, walked to the main road, bused to Sembawang MRT station, MRT-ed to Marsiling then walked to church :D After being dismissed from church, which was around 7am, I bused to interchange then bused back home. Reached home at about 7.30am. Bathed and ate then had a nice sleep :D That's pretty much all (: My day today consisted of 80% sleeping. Well I guess I'm going back to sleep again!(: You couldn't imagine how tired I was during the walk, I literally sleep walk, even when I had no one to hold one to {JP and Sacha always pang seh me}. Goodnight everyone, have an early sleep!:D You know you love me, ♥ M |
