What a way to start off a blog post, LOL. Yeah you might be wondering what's so funny, but let me tell you, there's nothing funny. I was just being lame as usual. So you want funny eh? Watch the video below!:D It's a 'Muttons to Midnight' podcast for Valentines day (: Before I start crapping xcsiz, I shall start blogging bout my day since Friday :D Friday: Went out around 6.30am and reached Causeway Point at approximately 7pm. See how freaking long I waited for the bus?! Cuz the journey is only like 10 minutes-.- K not important. Met Jolene and Sherye to collect my order of FBT shorts. Met Sacha and Jean at Boots and Shoe then headed to McDonald's at CWP {Causeway Point} for dinner. Chatted and ate and everything, left at 8.21pm. Walked over to Civic Center's McCafe and I bought a Mocha Frappe. Went up to Starbucks and Jean bought a Mocha Frappe too :D Bused to church for the Advent Vigil. We reached quite early, so slacked around. And finally it was 9pm and the vigil began... Vigil behind the scenes: We were separated into 4 different groups. My members are Dolly, Gian, Bryan, Joel, Maralene and the facilitators are Marilyn and Clarisson. The group rocks, except Bryan irritate the shit out of me _|_ Activity 1 - The Dark Room!: We headed up to the room on the second floor. And it was totally dark. We had to find source of light. I went into the room first. 3 seconds later, I knocked into something-.- K so basically we just walked around, touching everything, finding for some source of light e.g. torchlight, candles, lighter, matches. I went around feeling every nook and cranny of the room but there was nothing except dust. I was getting bored and sure that there was nothing to find, so I just sat and slacked. Father came into the room out of a sudden. We all stopped on our tracks, then gathered near the piano. No one dared go near him as we were sure he'd scare the crap out of us just for laughs. Bryan wanna be a hero, so he started searching the room again. Suddenly he screamed so loudly-.- Yada yada yada, a box was found, followed by a matchstick. Then many more matchsticks started to appear. HAH! There was seriously nothing at first, but Father scattered the things all over the room in the middle of it. Had sharing after that. Bryan was such a goon, gosh. Activity 2 - Skit: We had to do a skit on the difficulties of the 'Three Wise Man'. I was the dunno-what, and died cuz I was thirsty and drank poison cactus juice, HAHA. Activity 3 - Find Baby Jesus: We had to go to 4 blocks to find Baby Jesus. I paired off with Gian, we searched the right side of the block. We just ranted about why we were finding for Baby Jesus at 2am in the morning on a Friday night when we could be at home sleeping or watching TV or whatever typical teenagers does on a Friday night at 2am. Went to the second block, and I got seriously bored, so I started telling Gian some ghost stories which Bruno told me. Well, I didn't get to tell him though, he freaked out at the mention of the word 'ghost', LOL. He suddenly got scared, and said "I should on some praise and worship song, so that Baby Jesus would appear" but he played 'Stacey's Mum' instead, HAHA! Went to the 3rd and eventually the 4th block, but found nothing at all. At one of the blocks, there was a dead rat. We all stood around it and prayed for it. Such holy people :D And oh, I forgot to mention. There were alot of cats. Well not that it's weird since it's void decks. But there was this white cat with red eyes. I didn't see the colour of the eyes, but they said it was red. So I went over and looked into the eyes. And I realized I did a very wrong thing cuz there are myths about cat absorbing your spirit if you look into their eyes, according to Clarisson. And I looked into the eyes of 2 cats! so anyway, we went back to church and did sharing again. Activity 4 - Christmas Tree #1: We did a sharing bout why must there be a Christmas tree on Christmas. It was such a meaningful question, cuz I never really thought about it before. I realized that I didn't give an answer, LOL.But honestly, to me it's just a decoration. I mean, what's Christmas without the tree? It's like Chinese New Year without the Mandarin Orange. Then we had to decorate the Christmas tree by cutting out whatever shapes from a paper. Break Time!: We had cookies and Milo, YUMMMMM! :D Activity 5 - Christmas Tree #2: They tore our decoration into decorations, and we had to do a sharing on how we felt. I didn't feel pissed like some people do, cuz the shapes which they tore and folded into was really beautiful. But what's dumb was, we had to decorate it again-.- It was like 5am then, and some people were getting sleepy. Surprisingly enough, I wasn't sleepy sleepy, like during the night walk. Not that surprising actually, it was cuz I drank coffee, haha :D Sat there and drew a heart and chatted with JP. Then Issac suddenly started singing like some drunk man, HAHA!(: And then (I think it was) Gian started the primary school 'Teacher he touch my neh neh pok, teacher he touched my kuku bird' thing and then they all started chanting it, LOL. The End: So the vigil ended at 6am on a Saturday morning :D It was fun! ♥ Slack, Slack and Slack: Sacha, Gian, Lisa, JP, Brandon (sec4) and I went to a void deck and slacked till 9am or so. We played charades!:D It was damn funny! Especially when Gian was being bo liao and did a ritual around the used tissue paper he kop [stole] from the church toilet. We all got tired and sleepy but still charade-d. JP fell asleep on my leg, Gian had a breakdown and suddenly fell into a deep sleep. Ended them game then all of us minus Sacha went to a coffeeshop to have Roti Prata! :D I was craving for it the whole night, was so damn glad to finally be able to eat it :D Then some funny stuffs happened, like Brandon almost had no money to pay for his and JP's prata. Then Gian started telling some freaking gross story about him vomiting till Lisa stopped eating altogether, HAHA. the funniest was Gian's dream, LOL. He'll sleep for a lil while, like 1 minute and tell us about his dream, HAHA. Walked over to another void deck and slacked. Walked to Causeway Point and went our separate ways home. Home: Reached home at 12pm, bathed the slept. Woke up at 10.30pm. Received 9 SMSes from bby. I don't know why he got so worried, HAHA. Had KFC for dinner, chatted with JP, then called bby. JP called in after that, then we conferenced. Then quarreled with my brothers, blahblahblah. Got my phone confiscated by my mum and got busted hardcore. Then I came to my senses, and realized I let Jesus down. Read the Bible {Emmanuel said read it when you're feeling down. It really helps}. Had a long talk with my mum, then slept. Now: I'm blogging, yay (: K so that's all, I'm hungry and craving for prata bigtime. PRATA! |
