I can't believe that I stayed till today

And then he asked me to be his date to the senior prom. Holding a big banner, standing on the table right in the middle of the school canteen, there he was. The noise level went down, down to zero. It was a total silence. It was so quiet, you could hear the water boiling from the noodle store. "MARIA!" he called out, scanning the crowd for me. At last, he spotted me, sitting down at the end of the canteen. He looked right into my eyes, open up the banner and suddenly, whisperings started. There were "Awww...", "OMG!", "Ohhh" and "Ahhh" amongst them. I took my eyes away from his beautiful face, and read the words on the banner. "MARIA, WOULD YOU GO TO THE SENIOR PROM WITH ME?♥" The words were big and clear, bolded in red. I stared at those words, unable to believe what I saw. Then he opened his mouth, and asked "Maria...may I have the honour to take you to senior prom?" Slowly, I lifted my head and looked into his eyes. I was speechless. I tried to get the words "I'd love to!" out of my mouth, but no words came out. I was mesmerized by his beauty, was very touched by the way he asked me to prom. "Boy! What are you doing?! You are supposed to be in class!" The voice of our school's Operation Manager thundered throughout the canteen. I was still tongue tied. I wanted to give him an answer. A positive answer. He looked at me, his pretty eyes filled with sadness. Slowly, he turned away, and headed back to his class. Everyone turned to look at me. I got up, ran after him and hugged him from behind. "Yes, I will! Yes, I'd love to! Yes, in every language!" He spun around, and gave me a kiss. Cheers and claps followed. Mrs Kok came out of her office to see what the commotion was all about. She was stupefied to see me in his arms. Even though it has "Two months detention" written all over us, I didn't care. I didn't give a damn to anything at all. What I only care about is, I'm going to the prom with him...
I threw my eyes open and looked around me. I heaved a sigh of dismay and slumped my shoulders. That was only a dream. A dream that will never come true. Those were just my fantasies, me in my own world. But be realistic, Maria. I doubt there'll even be prom in WoodlandsRing Secondary. As I realized that some dreams may never come true, a tear escaped from my eyes, and rolled down my cheek. I want something very simple. Something most girls get to experience. An experience which is the most important day of a girl's life other than her wedding. And that is prom night. I wish upon a star, that my wish will come true..
Why doesn't Woodlands freaking Ring Secondary School have a prom?! Huh huh huh?!! WHY?!
Okay chill Maria, chill. There might be prom by the time I'm in sec4. But still!
It'll be my prom! And when it's my prom, I either go out with guys from my level or I ask a guy out. But if it isn't my prom, there might be a chance where I get asked out! And that'll be so cool!
Imagine, the guy coming to my house to pick me up. He gets to meet my parents. I wonder how they'll react... Then he'll put on the most beautiful corsage in the world on my wrist. Then we'll be on our way to Raffles Hotel in his dad's car. We'll enter the ballroom hand in hand. All eyes will turn to look at us. It's as though we are making a grand entrance. Or maybe we really are :D
Okay enough about prom already. I'll shut up, I'll shut up :/ I bet you girls are dreaming of prom too :D Okay fineeeeeeee I shall shut up officially-with-signature now.
I'm gonna meet Daniel and then Sacha later. Separately, although at the same time and place-.-
Haha sounds dumb I know. But the both of them asked me to meet them at the same time and place. Oh well, we're all going to Church for catechism class anyway. They can make friends (:
Oh shuckkkkkkkkkkkks. Talking bout cat class, I haven't studied for my test today! :/
Ah well, nevermind. I'm promoted to sec2 anyway :D I don't know why/how either.
So I guess I better start preparing to go out now, or I'll surely be late. My tardiness! :x
